Welcome to the Adventures Blog
—a space where I hope to share stories about goddesses, warriors, and heroines from the myths and legends of Scandinavia.
You might wonder: Why would an Argentinian woman, living so far from the Nordic countries, become passionate about the epic world of the ancient North? The answer lies in the memories of childhood and adolescence —times when I found companionship in books and in the music that already lived in my home.
I loved reading, especially a thick book titled Germanic Mythology by Brian Branston. And on quiet mornings, when I was completely alone, I would pull out my father’s old vinyls and listen to Wagner: The Ride of the Valkyries, The Ring of the Nibelungs… That entire world entered my heart so deeply during those silent days, when my solitude expanded into vast imaginary realms filled with magnificent gods, goddesses, and their distant kingdoms.
Soon I discovered the runic alphabet, and in my curiosity, I began using it even in university notes. I had built my own mystical bubble —rich, mysterious, full of symbols and ancient stories.
For years, I translated sagas —mainly those from ancient times— because these texts were hard to find in Argentina. I spent countless hours gathering public domain materials online. My curiosity was so great that, even without knowing English, I used every kind of translator I could find. Friends from other countries helped me when I needed it, especially with the older texts written in Old English.
Time has passed, but my deep love for this world remains untouched. Now it’s time for me to give something back —to share what I’ve learned, and bring these beautiful myths and legends to children, combining storytelling with my art and all the love I’ve poured into this journey.Welcome to WordPress.
